CHRISTIAN HALLOWEEN CELEBRATION
Halloween, that comes from the words All Hallows Eve, is tied on to All Saints Day celebrated on November the first, which is to commemorate the recent saints who have past on. These saints were heroes or martyrs for the Christian religion. These days we have a tendency to celebrate Halloween by permitting ourselves and our kids to decorate in costumes and go door to door requesting tricks or treats. This vacation is much far from religious and does not embody God as its main focus.
The Bible does not directly talk about Halloween, however it offers us tips to follow. In Exodus 22:18, Acts 8:9-24 and Acts sixteen, 19, the bible clearly tells us that pagan practices, such as: witchcraft, sorcery or occults, are to be avoided.
As Christians we have a tendency not to permit ourselves or our kids to participate or dress in costumes in relation to those pagan practices. Therefore we should incorporate God in a very event that praises the world. There is some ways for a Christian Halloween that place God back to the spirit of Halloween.

You might do a sort of costume contests, like “most creative”, “biggest-fanciest hats”, or “best create up”, etc, and prizes are awarded for the winners. The adults park their automotives within the automobile parking space with trunks open and therefore the youngsters move to every car and say “Trunk or Treat” and every adult will hand out trunk or treats tracts and bible scriptures from their trunk. This idea promotes a secure and fun-family atmosphere and also spreads God’s word at identical time.
